More 'Essence of Spring'

Spring should be here by now, and I'm sure in a lot of places it is. However, the past few weeks here in Northern Utah, we have been getting dumped on with snow for the past few weeks! (lol, which I personally don't mind, but I know a LOT of people are ready for it to be over! :) This kit almost gives us hope that spring could be just around the corner...

New lo using Circle Obsession

This is a lo I made using Brittney's Circle Obsession Kit. I also used a template by Liz Designs and the fonts are How Cute Am I by Darcy Baldwin and Cuckoo.

This is our first ever blog challenge..and my first ever template! So be nice haha.. I actually made a layout similar to this and I got alot of comments on it, so I figured I would I make it in a template! Remember this is my FIRST TEMPLATE so be nice haha!

I have a few layouts for u guys, using some kits by brittney of course! the kit used will be listed under the LO photo, enjoy oh and go buy some of her stuff haha!

kit used was john, this was made for an atc challenge on a forum i visit which is why it is so small.

For this layout, I used Brittney's DINOLAND kit. I really love how this layout turned out! :) When I look at it, I feel as though I entered his imaginary world! This is a fun kit.

Layout using Home Sweet Home Kit

I made this layout using Brittney Ferguson Designs Home Sweet Home Kit.

Journaling: We bought the house knowing that we would be doing a few renovations. We planned on starting by remodeling the upstairs apartment.....updating the heating system, buying new appliances for the kitchen, repairing the plumbing and replacing the bathtub & sink. It wasn’t until after the tenant moved out and we got a closer look at things that we realized that there was no insulation in the walls, the windows all had to be replaced and the lathe & plaster walls needed to be torn out. After that it became almost a daily occurrence to find something else that had to be replaced or repaired...the roof needed to be reshingled, the stove in the downstairs apartment was condemned by the gas company, the furnace failed an inspection because it was emitting carbon monoxide and was shut down until we could have it serviced.....and the list went on. For two and a half years we stuck with it...we worked almost every free moment remodeling, repairing and renovating until we finally ran out of money and patience. We put the house up for sale and within two weeks it was sold. We found another house...it had sat empty for almost a year so it needed a few small repairs....or at least that is what we thought. But that’s another story....

Hi! I'm Joy! I'm a stay home mom of 3 little boys. My oldest is 3 and my twins are 1. Digiscrapping is the tiny sane corner in my crazy world! I truly love it! My hubby is in the military and we are currently living in Germany.

I'm thrilled to be on Brittney Ferguson's CT. I've gotten to work with a few kits. I've had a lot of fun making layouts with them!!!

Hope Chest LO

Hello!! I used Brittney's HOPE CHEST kit to design this lo about my Grandmother and her brooch. Jounaling reads, "We were all together. Me, Mom, Dad, Freddy, and you. It was July 1979 and we were all on vacation together in Rhode Island. I was 5, almost 6 years old. We were visiting beautiful mansions along the coast and you bought this cameo brooch in one of the shops. These vacations are some of the happiest memories from my childhood. This brooch reminds me of these happy memories and of you. I am so honored that I now have this brooch. It is one of my most cherished possessions. If I someday have a daughter or granddaughter I will pass this cherished brooch to her."
